DIY Flower Screen Made from Napkins, String, and Staples! {$5 Project}

Well, we are already in week 2 of 5!

I LOVE this one! It's really special to me because I came up with it for my wedding & spent hours making these with my bridesmaids. Good memories.

It's really simple. Just like in my "Apple Blossom" tutorial, when cutting the petals, you cut a peanut shape out of your stack of napkins. However, this time, I came up with a less time consuming way to attach them to each other. Instead of gluing them, we stapled the petals together. It takes under a minute per flower.

First, I cut out all my petals (it's faster to do every step at once assembly line style!) Then I roll them in the middle and staple the petals together. Next, I staple them onto the string (with the string part on top, facing the top of the stapler so the string will be securely connected to the flower.)

Isn't it adorable? These pictures don't even do it justice!

We wrapped a line of white lights across the twine so it would be stunning at night too.

It was gorgeous. Definitely not bad for under $5.

You can make tons of these in just a few hours. They are a great wedding accessory & would be especially stunning on the beach!
