Free Chalkboard Label Printables
Today I have some GORGEOUS free printable Chalkboard labels for you all!
They come "as shown" (aka the pretty vintage version you see in the above photo) and as blank labels so you can just add whatever graphics, text & content you want in photoshop, picmonkey, etc.
Here is how I made mine in photoshop:
Just use the magic wand tool, making sure your contiguous option is checked (found on the menu bar), and select the graphic element you want. After making your selection, right click and press "feather" put at least 1 in as your value & press enter. The makes sure your selection will be smooth & not pixelated. Press CTRL C to copy your selection.
Then you can paste it onto your blank labels by pressing CTLR V. Repeat as desired.
The graphics I used for these ones can be found at Graphic Stock HERE and HERE. You could use them for all sorts of fun custom labels (presents, pantry labels, on jars, favors, etc!)
If you aren't already a member, you can download these graphics using a 7 Day Totally Free Trial where you can download 20 images per day, and keep them even if you decided not to continue the trial. And they are royalty free!
If you want to just go ahead and sign up for a membership without the free trial, I have a 80% off discount code for you HERE.
To use these ready made labels just go to the download link shown at the bottom of the post.
I suggest printing on a cardstock. I used 140 lb cold pressed watercolor paper, which is a little bit bumpy. I LOVE the texture. :)
If you don't feel like burning through a bunch of black ink for the chalkboard look, just go and get it printed at a place like Staples. They are pretty reasonable & charge per sheet, and not by the amount of ink you use. Haha!
You can rub some chalk over the paper after it's all printed for an extra realistic feel.
Look at that pretty detail! I used my chalkboard background HERE for the background, but Graphic Stock has some great ones like THIS one and THIS one.
The blank labels can be customized with a pen. I've heard that White Gel Pens work great up against black backgrounds too. Or you can just add your own text in photoshop.
They would be gorgeous for party decorations, don't you think? Everything chalkboard for this girl!!!
Enjoy!
If you are having issues using this download link, please reference my FAQ post HERE to troubleshoot it.
