Peppermint Qua-Triple Chocolate Cupcakes!



I just HAD to share these delicious cupcakes with you. I call them Peppermint Qua-Triple Chocolate Cupcakes! They are a big hit.


What could say Christmas better than chocolate and peppermint? Okay, maybe Baby Jesus, a Red Nose Reindeer & Christmas Lights say it better. But in 4th place are the Peppermint Qua-Triple Chocolate Cupcakes! Your friends & neighbors will be begging you for the recipe (or for you to make them!)


I just used a standard chocolate cake recipe for the cupcakes (you could use a chocolate cake box if you want...) 

For each chocolate cake recipe you use, double the frosting.

And I used my Chocolate Mint Frosting.

Here is the Frosting Recipe:
1 stick butter, a little colder than room temperature
1/3 cup cocoa
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon peppermint extract

Dump all the ingredients in and whip it until all the butter is combined (and there are no lumps!) 


After the cupcakes are cooked and COMPLETELY cooled down, pipe your Chocolate Peppermint Frosting to a peak.




Flash freeze them so the frosting won't melt when you add all your drizzled chocolate (about 5 minutes) and then add chopped up candy bars on the top 
(I used Three Musketeers Candy Bars)  

Next add some chocolate chips & then drizzle with melted chocolate.


THEN drizzle with Hersey Chocolate Syrup.

...

Okay, he didn't really say that! But he should have.

So eat them all & look like Santa (or share them and make everyone else look like Santa! ;)
