DIY Pallet Frame

You all know that I love pallets, right? Well today I'm going to show you how I framed my Prairie Tree Artwork with some gorgeous rough boards.

The painting of the tree was on a solid piece of plywood. I love painting on wood because of the textures it brings out. It worked out really well for this project because all I had to do was screw all the pallet boards onto the outer edges of the painted board.

Here a picture is how I attached all the boards from the back with screws.

And there you have it! Lovely rustic artwork that costs nothing to make! I wanted it to look like a window, and I think it turned out great! It looks so airy and bright. On a side note, I used heavy duty hanging hardware to make sure it stays up, but honestly, its lighter than it looks.

By the way, I made this prairie tree art work into a free poster print for you all, so head on over HERE to get it. If you want to see more projects from June's Rustic Room, go HERE.

Guess what I'm off to do? Work on another pallet project of course! Haha! Have a wonderful day guys!
