Make Sparkling Cider from Apple Juice and Sprite!
It's kinda a Family Tradition to have Sparkling Cider over Thanksgiving. This year we had a super large crowd over at my parents so we needed more Sparkling cider than normal... forget that, just my brother alone would drink several gallons of this stuff. ;)
Necessity is the mother of invention.
My sister showed me a wonderful secret she had learned: making Sparkling Cider from Apple Juice and Sprite!
Everyone say BRILLIANT!
It's so much cheaper than buying it & you get so much more for your $$$!
We did about a 50/50 combination, but you can adjust it to your taste.
My husband suggested adding some champagne to give it a slight kick at the end. Haven't tried that combination yet, but it is something to consider. :)
I LOVE the result & how easy it is! I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference if my sister hadn't told me it WASN'T Sparkling Cider!
